The Witch's Way Podcast

Season 3

Season 3 of The Witch’s Way Podcast is our most personal season yet.

This year, Kat and Jayme open the doors to the stories that shaped them. Few people make it through life without experiencing trauma—and when left unexamined, those experiences can mold us into versions of ourselves we don’t recognize or respect. Yet through resilience, we survive.

Season 3 is filled with survivor stories. You’ll come to know us more deeply as we share our own personal traumas and the long, imperfect journey of reclaiming ourselves through years of inner work. We speak honestly about uncomfortable truths—abuse, betrayal, assault, violence, addiction, and relationships we should have walked away from long before we realized we were stronger than what the world, and the people we loved, placed upon us.

Our intent is not to shock or retraumatize. It is to demonstrate what survival really looks like—and what’s possible beyond it. These stories are about how we endured, how we persevered, and how we ultimately elevated ourselves from fear and shame into hope, self-trust, love, and gratitude.

Season 3 is about reclamation. About truth. And about remembering who you are after everything tried to tell you otherwise. ✨

E75 Unchosen: A Story of Abandonment

But this is more than a story. It’s an exploration of how parental abandonment wires the nervous system, shapes attachment patterns, and follows us into adulthood — especially into our romantic relationships.

E76 Waiting to be Saved: A Story of Staying Too Long

This is Jayme's story about a relationship she knew wasn’t right—but stayed in anyway. He pursued her hard, made her feel chosen, and offered a version of stability she thought she needed. Even when the signs were there—from the very beginning—she ignored them. The rushed marriage, the red flags, the quiet voice inside her saying this isn’t it. What followed was a slow unraveling—verbal abuse, isolation, betrayal, and the painful truth that she didn’t believe her own unhappiness was a good enough reason to leave.
